training course at their headquarters in New York City June
23-24, 2008. There were 20 corporate security
professionals in attendance.

International Executive Protection Training Program n San Diego,
CA on July 14-15, 2008.
R.L. Oatman & Associates,
Inc. will again be returning to Oslo, Norway in November 2008 to
conduct our executive protection training program being
sponsored by Ronin and Associates.
We were pleased to be part
of the executive protection training program at Lockheed Martin
in Bethesda, Maryland.
Greg DeSoto, Executive Protection Manager brought together
Lockheed security professionals throughout the U.S. to
participate in the training.
R.L. Oatman & Associates,
Inc. 7 day executive protection training program has been
approved for 80 hours of credit towards the annual training
requirements for law enforcement officers in the State of
Maryland. The Department of Public Safety and Correctional
Services: Police and Training Commission approved our executive
protection training; this approval will be valid until December
28, 2010. Agencies wishing to apply the training towards
their officers annual training requirements should refer to
approval code P12909.
R.L. Oatman & Associates, Inc. has become
affiliated with Fazzio Executive Protection Services, Inc. to
assist in both domestic and international protection
assignments. Mr. Fazzio recently retired from the FBI
where he was the Detail Supervisor for the U.S. Attorney
General's Protection Detail for over 7 years.

Oatman presented at the A.S.I.S. International
53rd annual seminar in Las Vegas, Nevada on September
26, 2007. A new program, Managing and Directing an Executive Protection
Detail was well received by the 100+ participants.
We are now offering this 1.5 hour training block in
all of our executive protection classes.
Attendee’s of the seven
day program can now apply for college credits
through Carroll County Community College (Maryland).
